Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Site or Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are accepting on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.

2. Eligibility & Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years old to register as a Coach. Coach accounts may invite athletes; if a player is under 18, the Coach is responsible for obtaining any required parental consent. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential.

3. Subscriptions, Trials & Payments

Certain features require a paid subscription. Prices, billing cycles, and trial periods will be displayed at checkout. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law.

4. License to Use the Service

Subject to these Terms and timely payment of fees, Sluggo grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your internal team or educational purposes.

5. User Content & Playbooks

You retain ownership of diagrams, playbooks, quiz questions, or other content ("User Content") you upload. You grant Sluggo a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and process User Content solely to operate, improve, and provide the Service.

6. Acceptable Use

Upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes intellectual property.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code.
Use the Service to build a competing product.
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its security.
Send spam, phishing, or unsolicited messages.

7. Intellectual Property

All software, trademarks, and content (excluding User Content) are owned by Sluggo or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. No rights are granted except as expressly stated.

8. Feedback

If you submit feedback or suggestions, you grant Sluggo the right to use them without restriction or compensation.

9. Termination

You may cancel at any time in your account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or unpaid accounts after reasonable notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, but Sections 5–13 survive.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES—EXPRESS OR IMPLIED— INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SLUGGO WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. SLUGGO’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (a) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT OR (b) USD $100.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sluggo and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, U.S.A., without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Tulsa County, Oklahoma, unless both parties agree to binding arbitration.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms on the Site and indicate the "Last Updated" date. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
